On 24th June - 2nd July in 2016, WOTS put on the tapping sensation of Stepping Out, directed by Margie Rea. This play was a good-natured comedy by Richard Harris that chronicles several months in the life of a beginners Tap class. Through the tap classes you get to meet all the characters, with their relationships and interactions, working together to perform their final piece. This was new ground for WOTS doing a play with dancing so was a challenge for Director, Margie, and the actors as well. For most of the cast it was their first time tap dancing so their experience in rehearsals was mirrored in the play which made for a fun and challenging season.
